Manuscript Submission Guidelines

1. Having read the enclosed information about Destiny Image Publishers, weigh carefully whether you consider your work to fall within the parameters listed and want to continue with the consideration process.
   
2. Complete the Manuscript Submission Questionnaire on a separate sheet of paper in typed format.
   
3. Print a draft copy of your manuscript to the following specifications:
   • Typed
   • Double-spaced
   • One-inch margins
   • Table of contents
   • Chapter outline
4. There are two methods you can use to submit a manuscript:
   1. You can submit your manuscript here online by using the Online Manuscript Submission Form
   2. Send all information accompanied by an unsolicited manuscript submission fee of $25.00 (applies to Mail-In Manuscripts Only.) made payable to Destiny Image, Inc. to:

5. Please be aware that your manuscript and materials will not be returned to you whether or not we choose to publish it. Manuscripts received without the required submission information may be discarded immediately.
   
6. Destiny Image does not accept unsolicited manuscript submissions via e-mail. Please use the online Manuscript Submission Form.
   
7. What happens after a manuscript submission is received:

   When all of your submission material is received, accompanied by the submission fee, our Acquisition Department will review your book proposal, along with your questionnaire responses and present your work to the Publishing Committee:

   If your manuscript is accepted, you can generally expect to hear from us within 12 weeks. You will be contacted by an acquisitions editor either asking for more information or offering you a publishing agreement for your work.
   
   If your manuscript is not accepted, you may or may not receive a written response from Destiny Image, but you should be contacted at some point by an outside author coach who may be able to help you with other publishing options.

Communication about the Status of Your Submission

Regrettably, we are unable to acknowledge receipt or give status reports regarding unsolicited manuscripts.

Due to the large number of proposals we receive each year the review process can take up to 6 months.
