Revival in Europe is Imminent

God is moving powerfully around the world.

It is an incredible time to be alive. We have the choice to either concentrate on the conflicts and extreme challenges or to totally trust in Jesus.

We can focus on the problems or we can focus on what God is doing in our midst. When we look to Jesus, we will see that He is beautiful, holy, and full of love. He is working in and through His body in the nations. The hungry are being fed, the lost are encountering Him, and many are being touched by His love. God is looking for friends who will worship Him and fix their eyes on Him at all times. He is looking for those who will go wherever He calls them to reach people with His love and transform this world.

Take Your Place in the Harvest of Nations is a collection of interviews with fifteen inspiring leaders ministering across Europe in their united passion for the gospel. Each person gave God their yes and did not look back. Laura Taranto does an excellent job of capturing their hearts as she shares where their stories began, how they overcame challenges, and what they are believing for right now, both personally and for the continent of Europe.

Several of the leaders interviewed are my close personal friends, so we have prayed and ministered together for many years. It is my joy to be a spiritual mother in this movement. From the first Europe Shall Be Saved roundtable until now, I am standing with them in faith for what God wants to do in Europe. We all believe John 17 is a key passage for the body of Christ. It is time to minister in unity, love one another, and learn from each other.

I believe that as you read these testimonies, you will be encouraged to press into God and pursue God’s dreams for you. If your heart is saying “yes” to Jesus and to His invitation to love the lost and the broken, Take Your Place in the Harvest of Nations is a powerful resource for you. Take this book as an invitation into intimacy and adventure with God. Some are called to other nations, while others are called to their own hometown. Wherever you are, you can stop for the one to share God’s love and faithfulness.

The Great Commission is for all of us. Take Your Place in the Harvest of Nations is about what happens when you give God your yes, no matter the cost. God gives us visions from His heart. Our part is to believe with Him, pray, and take one step at a time. Like Mary, we say, “Let it be to me according to your word” (Luke 1:38). When it feels hard or even impossible, we don’t abort. We continue to trust and believe. God is raising up many men and women from all around the globe who will walk in this same spirit of faith, perseverance, and total dependence on God.

Sometimes the leaders interviewed in this book did not feel like they had much to give. The vision for Europe felt too big for them. But just like the little boy with five loaves of bread and two fish, they offered Jesus whatever they had for His glory. They watched with wonder as He did what only He can do. He took their offerings with joy and multiplied them over and over again. In Mozambique, sometimes we also feel so small when we see the need around us. Then we remember that we have a mighty God, and nothing is impossible for Him. We watch in awe and wonder as He pours out His Spirit time and time again. He provides for the poor and the needy as we partner with Him. So, if you feel too small or inadequate, fear not. You are in the perfect position to see God move through you. He is the One who empowers your dream.

I truly believe it’s Europe’s time. God is moving in powerful ways across the continent in many denominations and nations. God is calling Europe back to her roots, back to the place of being connected to the Vine, to Jesus. At times Europeans have thought they could do things on their own and continue to prosper no matter what. That might work for a time, but we can only truly thrive when we are connected to the Source of life.

I see God leading His people and reconnecting them to Himself. There is a huge harvest in Europe. It is a partnership between God’s plan and our participation. God has determined this revival in His heart, and we have the privilege to participate with our prayers and our lives.

It is time for men and women of God to wake up and not be silent. It is time to cry out to God for the continent He so deeply loves. We win this battle on our knees. We win it on our faces. We draw close to God in intimacy, connected to the Vine, then we go out and love the ones who don’t know Him yet. The men and women in this book are doing exactly that. Will you join them in prayer and action? Will you give God your “yes,” no matter the cost?

Laura Taranto wrote this book to encourage others to rise up in their callings with courage and faith. I know her heart is to bless you, inspire you, and help you step into all that God has for you. Laura is a spiritual daughter. She ministered with me in Mozambique and around the world, giving her yes and her life for Jesus. She is a passionate lover of Jesus, and she walks with great honesty, integrity, and creativity. She is a shining one.

As you read each interview, let God increase your faith for your life. Whatever your dream is, remember that all things are possible with God. You are a son or a daughter, loved by your Father God. He is calling and equipping you to make a difference in this world for His glory.
