‘My Remnant, Rise Up Higher’: Prophetic Word for an Outpouring of His Presence
I could feel the Lord’s heart wooing Me, saying,
“Come up and out of these wrong expectations. Come up and out of the places that were empty of expectation and hope. It is time to come up higher.”
I want you to understand that there was no sense of condemnation, repentance flowed out of me as I was confronted with areas of my heart that had aligned with these effects of previous seasons. The light of the Lord upon my heart was calling me higher and drawing me deeper into freedom.
That “come up higher” was not a place to strive and try to reach. “If I try hard enough, then my expectations will increase.” No. Rather, it was an invitation to abide. So those very areas where I saw wrong expectations, empty expectations, and where hope deferred had taken up residence, or exhaustion had set up camp, in those areas I had to intentionally abide in Him.
Those areas had to be completely saturated in the beauty of God and the revelation of who He is. I had to make an intentional choice to posture my heart again toward the Son and in faith. Despite how I felt.
That’s when the voice of the Lord crashed in:
Many are dancing with their emotions. Many have become emotion led and have postured their hearts for their emotions to lead. Emotions are not wrong, I have given My people emotions, but they are not to lead you. Many are finding their expectations waning because they are giving more voice and airplay to their emotions and how they feel than voice and airplay to My Word. It is time to elevate the unchanging Word, the powerful Word, My Word that is alive and active above emotions and pick up authority again. While emotions are leading, expectations wane.
Where many are dancing with emotions and emotions are leading and expectations are waning, strength is being stolen. Stability is being shaken. I am raising up a company of women, an army of My powerful daughters, who walk upon the water with Me. They live in a place of the impossible becoming possible, their hearts bursting with “nothing is impossible for those who believe” faith, because they live being led by My Spirit and on the foundational truths of My Word. They are bold. They are fearless. They know their authority, and they live in and from a well of deep, hope-filled expectancy because they are drinking deeply from the never-ending water of My Word and My Spirit, not the well of emotions that runs dry.
His voice continued to surround me:
You must live saturated. The key to living in a place where you worship Me with your expectations and are full of expectant faith-filled hope is that you must live saturated. Saturated in My Word is that My presence and living always before My face. Many have become tired and looked away, looked down at circumstances and looked around at the natural realm. Fixed. Locked gaze. Eye to eye. That is the place you will remain.
I could feel the alignment of the Lord. I could feel His powerful hand bringing forth divine order, and in the alignment of the Lord, there was great strength.
Again His voice surrounded me:
Lana, great strength will be needed for the days ahead for My people, and they have all the strength given to them that is found in Me. I AM their strength. My Bride is swiftly moving into the days of being further acquainted with who I am as the GREAT I AM. But while many are living and dancing with emotions and tantalized with distraction, strength is stolen and taken. I am inviting My people deeper into the place of worshipping Me with their expectations. I am asking My people, “Do your expectations bring glory to Me and worship Me? Stop looking around you! Look up! Look up! It’s time to look up! Look up higher. Make room! Make room! Make room! Ascend in your expectations, make room! There’s more, there’s more, there’s more.
As the Lord is raising up women of God living fully alive, He is fortifying His daughters in their foundation in Him and their expectations and that deep heart surgery that is taking place is removing those fractures. One of the fractures the Lord showed me was the word floundering.
As I leaned in and listened, I heard the Lord say, “Many are floundering between two opinions. I am calling My people to decide and be done with doublemindedness, it’s time to decide. Time to decide.”
The sense filled the atmosphere of declaring and deciding to stand in who He is and who the Word says He is and worship Him with our expectations. There was a resolve in expectation that the Lord was calling His people to, and the positioning was in the beholding of who He is and refusing to look at anything else. Nothing else but Jesus.
To live as a woman of God fully alive, is to live as a woman who beholds Him face to face, ministering to Him—and from that place we live decided. Every day we live decided in His goodness, His truth, His power, His love; and when expectations arise that do not glorify the Lord, instead of giving them airplay, we look deeper into His eyes, decided that all that is within Him is good, all His thoughts toward us are good, and His Word and His truth have the final say.
Abound in Him
The Lord’s heart is for you to abound in freedom and wholeness and to abound in expectation. Heavenly expectation. I want you to think about that for a moment. Think about the word abound.
What pictures come to mind thinking of the word abound? Abound does not speak of little or just enough. Google defines abound as “to exist in large numbers or amounts,” and synonyms of abound include “to thrive, to flourish, to lavish, superabundant, ample, plentiful, generous, inexhaustible, boundless.” And that’s just to name some of the synonyms.
So think about that, the Lord’s heart for you is to thrive, flourish, live in superabundance, plentiful, inexhaustible, boundless expectations. Why? Because HE is the God of abundance. He is the Ephesians 3:20 God. He is the God of more than enough. David says in Psalm 23:5 (AMP), “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You have anointed and refreshed my head with oil. My cup overflows.” He is the abundant God who loves to lavish and overflow blessing, love, grace, and peace into the lives of His people. He is the abundant Father who sent His One and only Son Jesus to die in our place so we could be reconciled unto Him, forgiven of sin, and have everlasting life. Living in abundant life (John 10:10).
As we look at just a few of those biblical truths and we see how abundant the Lord is and how beautiful and loving He is, as we see what is ours in Christ Jesus, the more we are rooted in Him—and in these truths, abiding deeply, our expectations flourish.
There is a tidal wave of the Refiner’s fire, and it is flowing all through the body of Christ. As we behold Him as His people, His fire falls upon us and completely consumes the expectations that are not glorifying the Lord and ignites the fire of faith within hearts. There is a complete reversal taking place. A total turnaround. A divine alignment of the Lord and divine order comes into hearts and minds, shifting and changing our sight as we behold Him.
Outpouring
The Lord is calling us as His daughters to a place of greater stewardship of our expectations before Him. As we are aligning our hearts in expectant faith before the Lord and allowing the Refiner’s fire to purify, we are making room for outpouring.
I heard those words over and over, “Alignment makes room for outpouring.”
As we cry out for the fire of God upon our expectations, a birthing of hunger takes place. There is a groaning, a deep cry being birthed within His daughters and increased within us for more of Him—to know Him more, hear Him more, see Him more, and to experience a powerful move of His Spirit in our midst.
Daughter of God, woman of God, we are being called by the Lord to anchor more deeply within His Word and make room for Him in our expectation. It’s time for the Bride to arise in faith in greater ways and take Him at His Word and to not flounder, but to stand fortified. There’s a deeper consecration that the Lord is bringing His people into. A consecration unto Him as He is about to do wonders among us (Joshua 3:5).
The shaking upon expectations is uprooting expectations that are rooted in past hurts, past seasons, trauma, grief, and circumstances; how things have happened before, they are all coming out. Daughter of God, hear this truth. He is bringing things up to bring them out. He is bringing you further into the wholeness that is already yours in Christ. As you embrace the fire, as you embrace the heart surgery of the Lord upon your expectations in the place of abiding and deep intimacy, He is setting you free from things that have held you down, making room for the outpouring of His Spirit to increase your faith. I see there are fresh and deep encounters with Jesus for you in this space. I see the words exponential expectations. He is bringing you into a place of living in a supernatural realm of exponential expectations.
I can hear your heart saying, “That would take a miracle,” and you’re absolutely right, because it will be a miracle. A powerful move of His Spirit that is not only going to restore your hope, restore expectations, and restore faith, but the fire of His love and the beauty of His face are going to usher you into a whole other world of expectation—and it’s not an expectation that you can conjure up in your own strength. It’s an expectation that flourishes from the place of beholding Him, abiding in Him, being with Him.
Your eyes are going to come alive in His presence more and more in this new era as you behold Him. Your eyes that have felt dim and heavy from fatigue of past seasons are going to be full of life as you look at the One who is Life itself. The Giver of life. The very Source of life. Heavenly vision is being restored to you to see on a level you have not seen before. Not just to see the promises contained in the Word and grab hold of them, but to see God’s plans for your life, your family’s life, and your city and nation on a scale you have never seen. The weight of sadness, heaviness, hope deferred, disappointments, pain, trauma, and all the effects of the past seasons that have affected your divine sight, insight, and expectation are being burned and washed away in His presence.
