Delivered from 35+ Years of Trauma: Your Path to Freedom from Anxiety & PTSD

One of the deepest wounds the Church must learn to address is not just what happens to our bodies, but what happens to our souls.

Trauma is not just a memory. It’s a cage. It’s a system of torment that twists how you think, feel, choose, and live. And for many, like Allison—a veteran with a history of military service, childhood abuse, and spiritual oppression—trauma became a way of life.

But trauma is not your inheritance.

At the Kingdom Foundation School in Olean, New York, we saw something miraculous. Allison stood in front of us—once broken, now whole. And not because someone gave her the right therapy worksheet, or told her to pray harder, or threw another Scripture at her like a bandage for an open wound. No, she stood because Jesus came into the very center of her captivity—and shattered it.

You Don’t Just “Get Over” Trauma

We need to stop pretending that trauma is something you can fix with performance. Read more. Pray more. Come to church more. These are good things, but they cannot mend a soul torn by abuse, war, or spiritual bondage. Allison had done all of that. She believed. She prayed. She stayed faithful. But she was still trapped.

Maybe that’s you.

Maybe you’ve carried shame because you believe you should be farther along. Maybe you’ve wondered why others are free, but you’re still anxious, sleepless, fearful of people, or haunted by the past. You’ve said to yourself, “I should be healed by now.” You’ve even questioned your faith.

Let me say this to you clearly: you are not defective. You are not too far gone. And your trauma is not too big for Jesus.

Watch Allison’s full testimony here.

Jesus Enters the Room You Keep Locked

For Allison, the moment of healing came not in striving, but in surrender. She let go of control—the coping mechanisms, the masks, the armor she had used to survive—and became vulnerable before God. And when she did, everything changed. She didn’t just feel a little better. She was completely delivered.

No more meds. No more sleepless nights. No more fear of crowds. Just peace. Just freedom. Just Jesus.

That same Jesus is here for you.

He doesn’t need your perfection. He doesn’t even need your strength. What He desires is access. He wants into the places you’ve hidden. Into the memories you avoid. Into the emotions you silence. Not to shame you—but to heal you.

Your Healing Will Not Look Like Everyone Else’s

Maybe your deliverance will come instantly like Allison’s. Maybe it will unfold over time. What matters is that healing is possible and promised in Jesus. He knows exactly where the fracture is. He knows what was taken from you. He knows the torment of the night and the silence of the day. And He is not standing at a distance.

He’s walking toward you with eyes of fire and hands full of restoration.

You’re Not Meant to Walk Alone

One of the greatest lies trauma tells you is that you are alone. That no one would understand. That if people really knew what you’ve been through, they’d run. But you’re not alone. You never were. And there are people—healing communities filled with the Holy Spirit—who will walk with you through the process of restoration.

You don’t need to perform for them. You don’t need to hide. When you say, “I’m not okay,” they won’t flinch. They’ll pray. They’ll sit. They’ll stay. And sometimes, you just need someone to be Jesus with skin on.

You Can Be Whole

That’s not a cliché. That’s a promise. The shalom of God isn’t just peace—it’s wholeness. It’s healing of mind, body, and spirit. The days of barely surviving are over. The days of carrying your pain like a badge are over. There is a name above PTSD, anxiety, panic, depression, dissociation, and torment.

His name is Jesus.

He doesn’t just heal your spirit. He heals your soul. He wants the parts of you you’ve buried—the ones you thought were too broken to redeem. And He wants you to know: you can be whole. You can live free from the fear that used to run your life. You can sleep again. Smile again. Be fully present and fully alive.

This is Your Invitation

Not to try harder—but to surrender deeper. Not to prove your worth—but to receive His love. You were never meant to stay stuck. There is deliverance for you. There is healing for you. You don’t have to earn it. You just have to let Him in.

So here it is, your moment:

Let go of the control. Let down your guard. Let Jesus in.

Because the cage of trauma cannot stand in the presence of perfect love. And Jesus is not just the answer. He is your healer.

Freedom is calling your name. It’s time to rise and walk.
