Seeing 444 Everywhere? What 444 Means and How It Connects to the Key of David

The key of David is a remarkable mystery.

Throughout the Word of God, it is connected to the throne of David, and it gains or stops supernatural access to things. I want you to think about the importance of supernatural access so you can walk in what God has for you.

It is important to value actually closing a door supernaturally so that something can’t get to you anymore. The key of David prevents opportunities for bad things to get to you. Those are closed off through David’s key.

Opportunities to get into the places where you need to be, and with the people you need to be with, are critical. Those give you access to the what God wants to give you. They open to you through the key of David. The favor that the Lord has upon you will be demonstrated by the doors He opens for you.

In modern Western music, the standard tuning frequency for musical instruments is 440 Hz. When you hear people say “tune to 440,” they’re talking about the A above middle C vibrating at 440 Hz. This is the pitch that most modern instruments, especially digital and orchestral ones, are tuned to. When I tune my guitar to a standard frequency, or when you tune any electronic instrument, it is typically set to 440 Hz.

That’s not the way it’s always been; that actually changed during the French Revolution. It changed worldwide from 444 to 440. It’s like a luciferian globalist saying to change it from something that is the frequency of Heaven to something that is distorted. That’s a mark of an antichrist spirit. He seeks to change the times of the seasons.

Before the French Revolution, the standard measurement units included inches, feet, miles, etc. Then, everything changed; the meter was established for length, the kilogram for mass, and the liter for volume. They even tried to change measurements for time by trying to establish Revolutionary Decimal Time. This had a decimal clock based on 10 hours per day, 100 minutes per hour, 100 seconds per minute, and 10-day weeks. At least the people hated that, and it was scrapped by 1805.

Every song you hear on the radio now is tuned to 440. Nashville, Tennessee, called Music City, has a loop that goes around Music City, named the “440 Loop.” It is called that because it is the fourth loop on Interstate 40, but it is crazy that Music City is marked by 440 tuning instead of 444.

That’s not what King David tuned everything to.

King David is the one who came up with standard tuning, and he established tuning to 444 Hz. He brought the Ark of the Covenant into Jerusalem and established the Tabernacle of David with musicians leading the people in worship around it 24 hours a day. He wanted to make sure people had access to the presence of God all the time. David was a musician, psalmist, and worship leader who wanted worship to have a standard.

The standard he established was the key of 444 Hz because that was the purest sound; it is the sound of Heaven. The Key of David is the sound of Heaven, so that worship can be effective warfare and bring us into intimacy with God. Jesus, holding the Key of David, unlocks the frequency of Heaven and brings true worship in Spirit and truth.

Look what Scripture tells us about the importance of the Key of David:

And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, “These things says He who is holy, He who is true, ‘He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens’: ‘I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. Indeed, I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth’” (Revelation 3:7-10 NKJV).

The fact that Jesus holds the Key of David is reassuring. His standards and His measurements don’t change. We can trust Him to open or shut the doors that will lead us into the place where Heaven comes into our world and our lives are perfectly fulfilled.

More About 444

  • Word 444 in the New Testament lexicon is: 444 anthropos, which means “man,” a generic name distinction from gods and animals. It’s the world number. “But he answered and said, It is written, Man [Anthropos] shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4).

  • There are 4,440 verses in the books of the five major Old Testament prophets. It’s interesting to note that 4,440 ÷ 5 = 888. In other words, when you introduce grace to the prophets, you get Jesus because 888 is the gematria of the name Jesus!

  • Strong’s Concordance is a classic tool that has aided Bible study for many years. Hebrew listing number 444 is the word alach. It is found in only three scriptural places. The Psalm 53 reference is part of a well-known rebuke against atheists and all those who refuse to acknowledge that God exists. The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity; there is none who does good. God looks down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there are any who understand, who seek God. Every one of them has turned aside; they have together become corrupt; there is none who does good, no, not one (Psalm 53:1-3 NKJV).

  • Ezekiel’s surreal “wheel within a wheel” vision introduces us to four spiritual creatures, each with four faces and four wings, for 444. “Also from within it came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had the likeness of a man. Each one had four faces, and each one had four wings” (Ezekiel 1:5-6 NKJV).

  • According to the book Number in Scripture by Bullinger, the Hebrew gematria of the word Damascus is 444. The name of the city appears 60 times in the King James Bible. Damascus, the capital of modern Syria, is considered one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities. Evidence of a significant population living in the area dates to at least the second millennium BC.

  • Chapter 4 of 2 Kings has 44 verses (444), as does chapter 4 of Luke (444).

444-Day Iran Hostage Crisis

US President Jimmy Carter spent his last minutes in office trying to end the 444-day Iran hostage crisis that some say cost him the presidency. He even took a telephone with him to Ronald Reagan’s swearing-in ceremony and was engaged in last-minute talks as the two drove up to the Capitol.

However, the newly inaugurated President Reagan made the announcement that afternoon. The 52 American hostages had been released from Tehran, and they were coming home.

The number 444 appeared on television screens around the world as a new name in world politics was emerging.

Reagan’s administration changed and affected the whole world in more ways than can be mentioned here. The most notable was the fall of communism in Eastern Europe, and the Berlin Wall—which separated free West Berlin from communist East Berlin and East Germany—was torn down.

God was completing something in the world that day, so He stamped the number 444 all over it for “all the world” to see.
