Sitting With God

As I was watching a newly released movie a few weeks ago there was a line a main character kept saying - it was his “catch phrase,” if you will, and it caught my attention.

“If you sit in the question long enough the answer will come to you.”  Sure enough, God started to speak to me about this one line from a movie. Yes, God can speak to us through the movies, if we will listen. He challenged me to really take time to sit with Him and go beyond just my quiet time and devotionals, but to press in to receive more.

God wants to speak to us. He wants to download plans, blueprints and build a real relationship with us. But if we never sit with Him, and I mean really sit in the stillness and quiet then how can He impart the deeper revelation?  God is inviting you to sit with Him so you can receive more as well.
