Prophetic Word: Fear Is A Tormenting Spirit

“But now, this is what the Lord says - he created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” (Isaiah 43:1-2)

“Fear is one of the greatest weapons the enemy uses to separate My children from Us,” I heard Jesus say.

Looking into the spirit, I saw myself floating on the sea of love; Jesus was standing beside me and Holy Spirit was adjacent to Jesus. They were waist deep in the calm water. Immediately, I looked for Father! I heard Father laughing, while saying that He was happy that I remembered what He told me in the past, that whenever I was with Jesus and Holy Spirit, He was always there, because They are one.

In the distance, I could see large, threatening waves, but they were not able to make the water I was floating on ripple. Love and peace were my resting place in this sea of glory and love. Contentment filled my being. Looking again at the rough sea lurking in the distance, I began praying for all those things the turbulent waters represented: the coronavirus plaguing the nations, the civil unrest and division in our land, those tormented by fear, addictions, mental illness and disease.

Father explained: “Fear is one of the greatest weapons the enemy uses to separate My children from Us. I chase fear away, whenever My children seek My help. All fear is detrimental to the well-being of My people, and the enemy flagrantly uses it in their lives on a daily basis: fear of abandonment, fear of death, fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of eternal damnation, poverty, loss… These are but a few of his devices to gain a foothold in their lives. This is why I invite them to come daily and sit with Me. In My presence, soaking in My glory, is where the fullness of joy abides. Peace like a river flows and all fear is chased away by My words that are filled with great love–a love that inspires great faith. Remember, perfect love casts out all fear. (See 1 John 4:18.)

“Fear is a tormenting spirit the enemy uses to try to separate Me from My beloved. People whose minds are caught in the grip of fear cannot get their thoughts focused on Me and on what is good and pleasant. By fear, demon spirits rob them of the joy I delight in pouring out on them.

“Teach My children not to entertain any fearful, anxiety-producing thoughts. When troubles threaten to arise, tell them to see themselves running into My arms of love where they are always safe. To know and believe My promise that I will never leave them or forsake them will give them the faith to know I am right there to embrace them, to carry them and to calm the storms that they are facing. Faith causes the rough seas to subside. Sheltered in My arms of love, their peace, joy, hope and strength will all be restored quickly.

“Fear must be seen as it truly is: a device to rob My children of all that is enjoyable in their lives. This is why I invite all to come to Me who labor and are heavily burdened. Rest, great peace, and joy that refreshes, are all found in My arms of love.

Fear Paralyzes, Faith Conquers

“Don’t fear what your enemies threaten to do to your land or to you; live and breathe faith. Yes, let faith in My goodness, My power, and My faithfulness fill your mind and heart. Never let fear come near you.

“Fear is the weapon your enemies use to defeat My people. Didn’t Goliath paralyze My army with his threats? Fear paralyzes and gives the enemy the victory, if it is not conquered by champions of faith. Like David, let your hearts and minds be so filled with love and faith in Us, that no fear will stop you from advancing and conquering the giants of death, destruction and failure that threaten to destroy you and your land.

“Intimacy was David’s greatest weapon. By spending long hours in My presence, he came to know well the God he worshiped and served. My bride will have the same courage, fueled by the same great faith in Me that David had. It only took one boy filled with faith to defeat the giant that paralyzed a nation; I only need a few who know, love and serve Me to conquer the enemies that are paralyzing your land and its people.

“Inspire your nation to serve us just as David did. Let the worshipers arise and sing songs of deliverance over this land, and you will see the glory of your God arise. My glory chases darkness—all evil—far away. Just as David slayed Goliath and chased the army of the Philistines away because My glory was on him, so too, in this hour My bride will chase the armies of Satan far away!” (See 1 Samuel 17.)

Faith Increases as His Majesty is Displayed

Vividly the Lord began to speak to me about who He is and how I could truly know Him by looking at His creation:

“You must know what a mighty God you serve if fear is to be destroyed in your heart. Knowing Me, in all of My might and majesty, inspires faith and confidence that crushes fear and worry. Mightier than the crashing waves of the ocean during a major storm, deeper than the depths of the ocean, higher than the mountain heights, stronger than the powerful rays of the sun: that is who I am. Nothing is greater than the God you serve; out of My majesty pour mighty works.

His soothing voice continued, “Put your hand in Mine, and expect great things of Me. Expect Me to move mountains of difficulties and destroy oceans of impossibility. Expect the impossible. Watch for the unexpected, because I am working on your behalf. Let the waves of My peace wash over you, and you will find rest for your soul and delight for your heart. Trust Me to make a way where the passage is impossible. Nothing is impossible for Me. I will perform My promises to you, because I am as faithful as I am mighty.”

When I looked into Jesus’ eyes I saw ocean waves, the sun shining brightly, and a mighty, explosive volcano erupting. I saw green fields dotted with flowers and snow-covered mountains reaching above the clouds, high into the sky.

“If you see so much beauty and strength in Me,” He asked, “then why do so many things trouble you? Am I not able to take care of all that you place within My hands? I am competent, so trust Me with all your problems.”

When I began placing things that were concerning me into His hands, I was surprised at the large number of issues that were burdening my heart.

Encouraging me, He added, “All of your fears open you up to the attack of the enemy. Peace is a shield that keeps him from touching you. As you release your burdens to Me, your shield of peace will be restored, the wall of protection back in its place, and your health restored.”
